How information is used
Submitted information may be used to review and work on your case, search public-source clues, contact you about the case, process payments or refunds, prevent abuse and improve the service.
Reunite's current policy states that it does not sell case information, screenshots or contact details.
Public-source research
Case clues may be used to identify relevant public information about an old gaming connection. The service states that it does not use hacking, leaked data, private databases or privacy-setting bypasses. A public source should not be treated as permission to collect unrelated sensitive information.
Screenshots and uploaded files
Screenshots can contain usernames, chat messages, profile details and other context. They should only be used to support the case.
Do not upload passwords, payment details, government IDs, private documents, intimate content or other sensitive material that is not necessary for the case.
Service providers
Reunite may use third-party providers for hosting, database, storage, email, analytics and payment processing. The current site identifies Vercel, Supabase and Resend among its technical providers, with payment providers used as applicable.
Retention and deletion
Case information may be kept as long as reasonably needed to review, process, support and document a case, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention and accounting requirements. You can request deletion of submitted case information by contacting support@reunite.gg.
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion or a copy of personal data. Send requests to support@reunite.gg. Requests may be subject to reasonable legal and operational limits.
Security
Reunite uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect submitted case information. No internet service can promise absolute security, so users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.
Minors and unsafe cases
Reunite is not intended for cases seeking to locate, identify or contact minors. Cases that appear unsafe or inconsistent with the Safety Policy may be rejected or stopped.
