Safety Policy
Reunite.gg is designed for respectful reconnection with old online gaming friends. It is not a stalking, doxxing, surveillance or private-investigation service.
The consent-first rule
A possible match is not permission to share someone's private contact details.
When possible, Reunite's stated process is to contact the likely match first and ask whether they are open to reconnecting. If they do not agree, their decision should be respected.
Allowed purpose
Cases should be about reconnecting with old teammates, server friends, gaming partners and people from online gaming communities. The request should have a genuine reconnect purpose.
Public sources only
- No hacking or account access.
- No stolen accounts or credentials.
- No leaked private databases.
- No phishing, impersonation or fake access.
- No bypassing privacy settings.
- No attempts to expose private addresses or other sensitive information.
Cases that are not allowed
- Stalking, harassment, threats or intimidation.
- Finding someone who clearly does not want contact.
- Locating, identifying or contacting minors.
- Tracking ex-partners or people involved in personal disputes.
- Workplace, debt-collection, legal or surveillance-related tracking.
- Doxxing or exposing private information.
Be careful with screenshots
Only submit screenshots that are relevant and that you have a legitimate reason to share. Remove unnecessary personal information where possible. Never submit passwords, account recovery codes, financial details, government IDs or intimate material.
Case rejection and stopping a search
Reunite may reject, pause or cancel a case when it appears unsafe, abusive, misleading, impossible to work responsibly, or outside the service's intended gaming-reconnection purpose.
Report a concern
If you believe a case creates a safety problem, email support@reunite.gg. Include the case ID if you have one and describe the concern without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
