Safety Policy
Reunite.gg is built for respectful reconnection attempts between old online or gaming friends. It is not a stalking, doxxing, harassment, or private-investigation service.
Consent-first reconnects
If Reunite.gg finds a likely match, we do not simply hand over private contact details. The other person should have a choice before any reconnect happens.
When possible, we contact the likely match first and ask whether they are open to reconnecting. If they do not agree, we do not force, pressure, expose, or repeatedly contact them.
Public-source search only
Reunite.gg only uses lawful public-source clues and information that is publicly available or provided by the person submitting the case.
- No hacking.
- No stolen accounts.
- No leaked private databases.
- No phishing, impersonation, or fake access.
- No bypassing privacy settings.
Prohibited cases
We may reject or stop any case that appears unsafe.
- Finding or monitoring ex-partners.
- Finding someone who clearly does not want contact.
- Finding, identifying, or contacting minors.
- Harassment, revenge, threats, pressure, or intimidation.
- Doxxing or exposing someone's private information.
- Workplace, legal, debt, or surveillance-related tracking.
Screenshots and clues
Users may upload screenshots or write details that help explain the case. Only upload material that you have a legitimate reason to share and that is relevant to the reconnect request.
Do not upload passwords, private documents, intimate content, financial information, government IDs, or anything that could unnecessarily expose another person.
Case rejection
Reunite.gg may reject, pause, or cancel a case if it appears to violate this Safety Policy or creates risk for another person.
We may also refuse cases where the available clues are too weak, misleading, unsafe, or not connected to a genuine online friendship.
Report safety concerns
